Hospital Records Database The database was developed by the Wellcome Library and the National Archives.

Historical Hospitals Admission Records Project (HHARP) Database of admission records of hospital records dating between 1852-1921 taken from hospitals including Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. 


Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) is the controlled vocabulary thesaurus for the US National Library of Medicine. It is the international standard used by numerous biomedical publications and is widely used by libraries and archives for indexing medical collections.


UK Medical Heritage Library The UK Medical Heritage Library is a digital resource making texts relating to 19th century history of medicine available from institutions including Wellcome Library, Royal College of Physicians of London, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, Royal College of Surgeons of England, UCL (University College London), University of Leeds, University of Glasgow, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, King's College London and the University of Bristol.
