The HARG AGM was kindly hosted by the Lothian Health Service Archives (LHSA) team at the Centre of Research, University of Edinburgh on 23 September 2016. The meeting was well attended and great to see so many HARG members (and new faces) who have often not been able to attend our previous recent meetings. The day comprised of a morning session including updates on the HARG website and recent activities of the group and updates from attending members. Following an excellent lunch in a suitably sleek but affordable establishment we returned to hear the activities of Scottish NHS Archivist group and particular focus on the implications of the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011, this was followed by a presentation by Aline Brodin on cataloguing case notes projects at the LHSA and then members were given a choice of attending a behind the scenes tour or visiting the two current exhibitions relating to the history of health and medicine.

A blog post on the proceedings by Ruth Honeybone (Manager of the Lothian Health Archives) is also available on the website.
